Giveaways

Run giveaways in your Discord server with button or reaction entries, scheduling, editing, and automatic winner selection.

Commands

/giveaway create

Start a new giveaway.

item What you're giving away (required)
winners Number of winners to select (required)
duration How long the giveaway runs, e.g. 1d, 12h (required)
schedule Delay before the giveaway starts, e.g. 24h (Premium)
channel Channel to post the giveaway in
description Description of the giveaway item
image Attach an image to the giveaway

Cancel and delete a giveaway.

message_id Message ID of the giveaway to delete (required)
channel Channel containing the giveaway
Reroll Button

After a giveaway ends, use the "Reroll" button on the message to select new winners from eligible entrants who have not already won that giveaway.

Dashboard Edit

Use the dashboard giveaway manager to edit queued or active giveaways and remove selected entrants from active button giveaways without deleting and recreating them.

/giveaway entrants

Giveaway hosts and admins can list active button giveaways in the current channel, open entrant management, and remove entrants in bulk with Discord's searchable user picker.

Giveaway Entries

Use the message context menu on a giveaway message to open entrant management for that exact giveaway.

/giveaway remove_entrant

Giveaway hosts and admins can remove one user's active entry from a button giveaway when they already know who needs to be removed.

Configuration

Use /settings giveaways to configure:

  • Log Channel Where giveaway results are posted when they end
  • Alert Role Role to ping when new giveaways start
  • Entry Mode Choose whether new giveaways use an Enter Giveaway button or gift reaction entries
  • Require Server Tag Entrants must be displaying this server's tag when winners are selected. The setting is saved on each new giveaway, so later setting changes do not alter one already running.
  • Hide Reroll Button Remove the public reroll button when servers prefer command-only rerolls

How Giveaways Work

  1. 1

    Create the giveaway

    Use /giveaway create with your prize details and duration. Optionally set schedule to queue it for later.

  2. 2

    Members enter

    Users enter with the configured button or reaction method.

  3. 3

    Timer expires

    When the duration ends, Prize Bot automatically selects winners.

  4. 4

    Winners announced

    Winners are mentioned in the channel and logged to your log channel.
