Acceptance of Terms

By adding Prize Bot to your Discord server or using any of its features, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

Description of Service

Prize Bot is a Discord bot that provides auction hosting, giveaway management, prize claim systems, and virtual currency features for Discord servers. Auctions are managed through slash commands and bot-provided interactions; free-form text messages are not accepted as bids. The service includes both free and premium subscription tiers.

Claims & Transcripts

Prize Bot may create private claim channels to help hosts and winners complete prize fulfillment. When a claim is completed or cancelled, we may save a transcript or other record of the claim channel for recordkeeping, support, abuse prevention, and dispute resolution. By using the claim features, you consent to that transcript and log storage.

Eligibility

To use Prize Bot, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old (as required by Discord's Terms of Service)
• Have the authority to agree to these terms
• Have a valid Discord account in good standing

User Responsibilities

When using Prize Bot, you agree to:

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
• Ensure your use of the bot is legal where you operate
• Follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
• Use the bot features as intended
• Avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive personal information in claim channels or other bot-managed spaces
• Not attempt to circumvent any limitations or restrictions

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of Prize Bot complies with local laws.

Prohibited Activities

You may not use Prize Bot for:

• Illegal activities including gambling for real money or fraud
• Harassment, abuse, or harmful behavior toward others
• Attempting to exploit, hack, or disrupt the service
• Spam, automated abuse, or rate limit circumvention
• Any activity that violates Discord's Terms of Service
• Deceptive practices or scams

Premium Services

Prize Bot offers premium subscriptions with the following terms:

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly depending on your selection
• Refunds are not typically provided, but may be offered at our sole discretion
• Features may change between free and premium tiers with reasonable notice
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal
• Access continues until the end of your current billing period after cancellation

Intellectual Property

Prize Bot and its code, design, features, and documentation are the intellectual property of Prize Bot and its creators. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our service without explicit permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Prize Bot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We make no guarantees regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the service.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for how users choose to use the service
• Users are solely responsible for ensuring their use complies with local laws
• Our maximum liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months prior to any claim

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Prize Bot at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may stop using the service at any time by removing the bot from your server.

Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of Prize Bot after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
